Turn any cycling GPS file into a wall poster

A gran fondo through the Dolomites, a cobbled sportive across northern France, a gravel epic through the Tuscan strade bianche, or a bikepacking route through mountains — every cycling GPS file contains a route with a distinctive visual shape. Route Posters reads GPX, TCX, FIT and KML files from any cycling computer or app and renders that track as a clean, customisable poster illustration.

The editor automatically detects that the activity is a cycling ride and adjusts the stat display accordingly: distance in km or miles, total ride time, pace, and elevation gain are pulled from your file. Background style presets are available in light and dark themes — the gradient "Run. Explore. Repeat." preset with its orange-yellow gradient route suits gran fondo aesthetics, while the neon-gradient "Stronger Than Yesterday" preset works well for road rides with a punchy visual character.

Finish the design and download a 300 dpi print-ready PDF sized for professional poster printing. The canvas is proportioned for A3 and A2 — standard sizes at any print shop. No watermark, no account required.

How it works

  1. 1

    Export your ride file

Download a GPX, TCX, FIT or KML file from your Garmin Edge, Wahoo ELEMNT, Hammerhead Karoo, Strava, Komoot or Ride with GPS. Every major cycling platform supports at least GPX or FIT export.

  2. 2

    Design your poster

Upload the file, select a preset or customise colours, background, route style and stats. Add a headline that captures the ride. Everything previews live.

  3. 3

    Download and print

Export a 300 dpi PDF or PNG and take it to any print shop or upload to an online printing service. Sharp at A3, A2 or 50×70 cm.

Frequently asked questions

Does the editor show cycling pace or speed?
The editor displays pace in min/km by default. For cycling, speed in km/h gives a more natural reading — you can toggle the stat label in the editor. Distance, total time and elevation gain are shown regardless of sport type.
Which cycling GPS devices and apps export compatible files?
Garmin Edge, Wahoo ELEMNT, Hammerhead Karoo, Sigma Rox, Bryton and most other dedicated cycling computers export FIT or GPX files. Strava, Komoot, Ride with GPS, Zwift and TrainingPeaks also export GPX. All four formats — GPX, TCX, FIT and KML — are accepted.
Can I make a poster from a bikepacking or multi-day route?
Yes. There is no distance limit. You can upload a GPX from a 200 km gran fondo or a 1,000 km bikepacking tour. For multi-day routes split across several files, merge them into a single GPX file first using a tool like GPSBabel or Strava's route builder.
