How-to guide

How to make a poster from Wahoo

Wahoo ELEMNT bike computers and TICKR heart-rate monitors sync your rides and workouts to the Wahoo app and Wahoo web dashboard. From there you can download your activity files for use in Route Posters.

Supported file formats

Wahoo devices record in FIT format. The Wahoo app and web dashboard can export FIT or GPX. Route Posters supports both — use whichever your Wahoo version offers.

Route Posters supports GPX, TCX, FIT, and KML files — the standard formats exported by GPS watches, cycling computers, and fitness platforms.

Step-by-step: from Wahoo to a printed poster

  1. 1

Open the Wahoo app or web dashboard

Open the Wahoo Fitness app on your phone, or log in to the Wahoo web dashboard at wahoofitnessapp.com.

  2. 2

    Navigate to the activity

Find the workout or ride you want to convert into a poster and open its detail view.

  3. 3

Find the export or share option

Look for an export, share, or download icon — usually a share arrow or a ⋯ menu. The exact label may vary by app version; look for "Export" or "Download".

  4. 4

    Choose FIT or GPX

Select FIT or GPX as your export format. Both work in Route Posters.

  5. 5

    Open the Route Posters editor

Go to Route Posters and click "Create poster" to open the editor.

  6. 6

    Upload your file

Drag and drop the FIT or GPX file onto the editor. Your route is drawn from the GPS track.

  7. 7

    Customise and download

Adjust the style, colours, and text, then export your poster as a high-resolution PNG or print-ready PDF.
