The Honolulu Marathon starts in downtown Honolulu near Ala Moana, runs through Waikiki and climbs around Diamond Head before heading out to Hawaii Kai and returning along the coast to finish in Kapiolani Park. The course features rolling terrain with notable climbs around Diamond Head and is run in warm, humid tropical conditions with no time limit.
