The Berlin Marathon course
The loop course starts and finishes in central Berlin, running past landmarks including the Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church and finally through the Brandenburg Gate just before the finish on Strasse des 17. Juni. It is famously flat, with smooth wide roads and few turns, making it the fastest of the major marathons and the site of numerous world records.
