Valencia's course is a fast, largely circular route through the city, starting and finishing in the area of the City of Arts and Sciences. It passes the historic centre including the Town Hall Square, crosses the former Turia riverbed turned into a park, and runs out toward the marina and the Mediterranean seafront before returning along wide boulevards. The dramatic finish is on a pontoon bridge over the water beside the City of Arts and Sciences, and the course is among the flattest and fastest in the world.
Typical race-day conditions: Early December in Valencia is cool and usually dry, around 10-18C, ideal for fast times.
